Greek riots

It’s been a close call between Turkey and Greece for our next holiday, and while Turkey has been in the lead running because of sites such as Olu Deniz and the general Turquoise Cost, both the Greek mainland and islands have been on the radar for possibly the next holiday.

But not for much longer unless the Greek government does something about the existing riots:

Strike adds to unrest in Greece

Strikes, riots, unrest - not the sort of environment for a family holiday.

The anarchic element of Greek society appears both strong and significant, so I’ll be keeping an eye on developments here to see whether this is an isolated flare-up, or whether I should cross Greece off my visit list for the near future.
